The Ruins of Dunseverick

This photo gives you some idea of the scale of the castle at Dunseverick. It was built upon this 'V' shaped crag and the high sloping sides would have made it a difficult place to attack.
Like Kinbane and Dunluce Castle, the high-sided crag afforded great protection and proximitey to the shore would have made travel around the coast and further afield to Scotland more accessible.
